Some help with Parliament stats, please

Does anyone have or know of a reliable source for stats pertaining to party votes on non-confidence motions in the House? I'm specifically after the number of times just one other party supported the Conservatives.

You all know why, I'm sure.

The NDP website has Liberal/NDP stats (or it did yesterday) for the last 79 confidence votes.

IIRC, the NDP voted against the government all but once.

I suspect that you would have to look at Hansard to see how the BQ voted, but the NDP list would be a good finding aid.

Unlike the NDP, the BQ has been consistent. They've always said they'd support measures that favour Quebec.

In reality, the NDP (and the other parties) has voted with the Conservatives on lots of specific measures. The NDP voted for the residential schools apology, the NDP voted to recognize Quebec as a "nation", the NDP voted for the Accountability Act and probably a number of other things. They have always voted for bills that they agree with. So that is consistent in what Layton said in 2006:
"Layton said his party, unlike the Liberals, is determined to make Parliament work and will not oppose the government for the sake of opposing. He refused to get drawn into threats about defeating the government if Harper ignores opposition priorities, preferring to wait and see."
I would call that consistent and will actions to support my post, unlike the previous poster who suggested some truth without proof to back the claim.
I believe, the difference this time is that since the Liberals have decided to vote against everything without even reading it - that suddenly whether the NDP votes for a bill means whether or not parliament is dissolved instantly.
Anyway, I hope this helps in understanding what is going on.

Whatever. I know of all the partisan crap and the non partisan. Everyone does both, which is what makes the whole thing a ridiculous sideshow intended to keep people from looking harder at more important things.

I'm just after some numbers.

Thx for the help.
